All products are made in an environment that contain nuts, gluten, lactose and other allergens. The customer is responsible for informing their guests of any allergy information accordingly. I cannot be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of the cake.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, payable at the time of placing the order. This deposit is transferrable (see changes to order), but is non-refundable. If the deposit is not received within one week of placing the order and after several attempts to contact the customer in writing (email or SMS), I will assume that you do not wish to go ahead with the order. The occasion date is not held and your booking not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Deposits can be paid by bank transfer, bank cheque or cash. A receipt will be issued to the customer at the time that the deposit is paid.
Final payments are due at the time of collection. Please note that payments for the final balance can only be made by bank cheque or cash. No EFTPOS facility are available at this stage. A receipt will be issued to the customer at the time that the final balance is paid.
Any changes to orders must be made no later than one week prior to the occasion date. Those changes will be accommodated subject to availability. If you need to postpone your event, please contact me immediately. I will try my best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. If your date is available, the deposit will be transferred to the new date. If your request can not be accommodated, it is a condition that you will be charged for any work that has started or special orders. If the cancellation occurs less than a week before your event, the deposit will be forfeit.
All cancellations must be in writing. If you need to cancel your order for any reason, the customer is expected to be charged for all special items purchased for their order as well as work already started. In the unlikely event that I need to cancel the order due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of the deposit will apply.
Once collected, the product becomes the responsibility of the customer. I cannot be held liable for any intervention once the cake has been collected. The customer is responsible for the location of the cake. The customer is also responsible for a stable and levelled cake presentation table upon which the cake is to be displayed.
I keep the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of customers’ cake or pictures in which they may be included. For example, but are not limited to, advertising, display, website and internet promotion.
